Text Box: Chris Pisani

A mature age artist, Chris has a fascination with the environment and a passion for colour.  Couple this with the expertise shown in her pastel work, and you have a stunning visual extravaganza.

“Look into the works and not at them”, Chris says, and you will observe in them, what you would not normally see.

Chris exhibited a natural gift for drawing coupled with a love of animals at an extremely early age.  Her  talents were put on hold for many years until she decided to return to school as a mature age student.  Achieving a perfect score in her SACE Art assessment of 1999, Chris then went on to North Adelaide School of Art to further her studies.  Leaving AIT Arts (previously North Adelaide School of Art) in 2006 in her 3rd year due to severe arthritis, Chris has continued to paint and enter exhibitions.   Her love of nature and the environment shows in her brilliant and unusual pastels, oil and acrylic paintings and sensitive watercolours.

Chris is available for commissions for private and Corporate collections,  and her work can be viewed at any time at her home at Craigmore.   (Appointment required)
